Everything went off without a hitch. The 2 hours at Stonehenge were a bit tight, but that was planned in advance. Very nice experience!

Fantastic experience. The driver Mustafa was very kind and provided us with a bag with lunch. Stonehenge is, to say the least, fabulous and the audio guide included and downloadable to your cell phone helps you understand a lot about that magical place. Absolutely recommended tour.

Comfortable bus. Driver Patrick and guide Chrissie friendly and Chrissie knew a lot about all the sights. Everything was well organized. Despite not being able to go to Oxford due to a blowout on the highway. Fortunately Patrick was able to stop the bus on an emergency lane. Waiting for new transportation took time and it was too late to go to Oxford. Even so, we were still on the road for 11 hours. We were to receive a refund from the bus company. This was also arranged the same day. Too bad v Oxford, can happen and handled well and quickly.

The beautiful cathedrals of Salisbury were eerily haunting: the Gothic architecture had me gasping and gawking from time to time

The Stonehenge was eye opening, I never wanted to leave and the Salisbury had me gawking the entire way: this combo is great!

Visitor tips

  • Sit on the left side of the coach when departing London for better views heading toward Windsor and Oxford.
  • If your tour includes Windsor Castle entry, arrive early to clear security and avoid queues at the State Apartments.
  • Use the free shuttle at Stonehenge to save energy for walking the stone circle and visitor centre.
  • Check the college opening hours at Oxford because some close early or restrict access during university events.
  • Photography is allowed at most Oxford colleges but usually not inside libraries or chapels.
  • Download offline maps or audio guides before the trip—Oxford's narrow lanes and Stonehenge's remote setting mean patchy signal.
  • Wear layered clothing, because while Oxford can be sunny, Stonehenge still remains chilly and windy.
  • Bring cash or contactless for quick purchases at Oxford bookshops, Windsor gift stores, or snack counters en route.
